I have the best of both worlds!

In addition to portrait photography, I am an elementary reading teacher.  I'm thrilled I get to pursue both my passion for teaching and my love of photography.  Making an image go from good to great through the editing process gives me a sense of accomplishment and allows me to express my artistic abilities.  I get the best of both worlds!

I became interested in photography after my husband bought me my first DSLR camera for Mother's Day in 2015.  I began reading and watching tutorials like crazy,  and my children quickly became my models as I practiced learning everything that went into creating a breath-taking image.   

As my hobby started to head in the professional direction, I invested in a high-end camera and multiple high-caliber lens.  Between sophisticated equipment, knowledge of photography fundamentals, and an artistic eye, Amy's Images, LLC was born.
